What does my camper need for camp each day?
How long is your camp program and what days of the week are the camps?
Please bring a refillable water bottle. We provide Highbridge water for all guests. Each camper will be able to eat every item that is made on-site; no outside food or drink is permitted.
Campers must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for safety purposes. Any long hair must be pulled back.
What are the hours of your camps?
Our junior chef camps are split into two sessions:
8:30am-10:30pm and 12:00pm-2:00pm.
All other camps run from 8:30am-2:00pm.
Please refer to individual camp descriptions for more information.
Do you make accommodations for food allergies/dietary restrictions?
We will do our best to accommodate for dietary restrictions and allergies, but cannot guarantee a completely safe environment or that the entire menu can be adjusted to meet dietary needs, as we are working with a large group of children. Please read our full food allergen policy here and contact us directly prior to registering for the camp to discuss if the camp would be a good fit for your child, based on severity, and type of allergies/restrictions.
How many chefs are on staff for the camps?
We have one LBV Chef for every 7-10 kids, plus an onsite office manager.
Do the kids get to eat what they make?
Yes! The Campers will eat what they make each day. You’ll be happy to find many of them are excited to keep cooking at home once they are done for the day!
Do you have before and after care options?
Not at this time. Our LBV Chefs will be in the kitchen 30 minutes prior to and 30 minutes after the camp, so if necessary, you may drop off your child between 8:15-8:30am and pick up your child by 2:00pm at the latest. We may apply a late fee per minute past the scheduled pickup time.
What is your camp cancellation policy?
Our Summer Camps run Monday-Friday from the first week of June and through the last week of July, unless otherwise noted.
Our Spring Break Camps run Monday-Friday during the Fayette County Spring Break schedule.
All sales are final. If camp dates no longer work for your schedule, you may reschedule to another camp with at least 30 days notice prior to the date of camp.
LBV reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule camps as needed. (weather, illness, etc.) Although this is never our goal, if we need to, an email will be sent to the ticket holder with rescheduling options as soon as possible.
